A video showing how a taxi rammed into a pedestrian before crashing into a pillar has been circulating online.
Two contributors alerted citizen journalism website Stomp to the incident, which occurred at Tower 1 of Marina Bay Sands on Saturday (Sep 24).
A clip that they sent to Stomp via WhatsApp shows a man crossing the road when the taxi suddenly appeared and ploughed into him.
Screeching noises from the vehicle’s wheels can also be heard.
The taxi then hit a pillar before coming to a stop.
A second video shows security personnel a large crowd of people rushing to the accident scene.
It is unclear what happened to the cabby or victim.
