Singapore: Singapore participated in the AFF Suzuki Cup semi-finals for the first time after 9 years. On Wednesday (December 22), it drew 1-1 with Indonesia at the National Stadium.

In the 28th minute, Witan Sulaeman’s goal gave the away team the lead in a largely close match before Ikhsan Fandi equalized midway through the second half.

Both sides started well, but in the 10th minute, the Indonesian team began to put pressure on, and the Lions were forced to make a series of rescues.

First, defender Safuwan Baharudin made a header from an internal rotation, and then Zulfahmi Arifin had to hook the ball away from the final corner.

A few minutes later, striker Ihsan saw the goal for the first time, but his shot only found the side net.

Then Singapore had the best chance of the game as Indonesian goalkeeper Nadeo Winata brilliantly knocked down a looping Safwan header.

But Indonesia then created its own chance and scored a goal because Witan Sulaeman shot past Hassan Sunny after a nice goal from the right.

After Zulfahmi was tied up in the danger zone, the visiting team almost doubled their lead, but Indonesia was unable to take advantage of the brave Hassan.

The Lions started the second half in an excellent manner, as Ikhsan proved Indonesia’s defensive thorny.

First, he would grab the possession of a defender in the 49th minute, and a few minutes later, he would miss the goal with a header.

Singapore continues to heat up, Faris Ramli (Faris Ramli) beat a few players with crazy runs, but he will fire at the hour mark.

Faris approached again in the 64th minute, but after turning around to defend, he could only bend the ball out.

But the pressure of the Lions will eventually pay off, because Faris will feed Ihsan the ball and he will confidently tie the score in the 70th minute.

Yoshida’s men almost took the lead shortly after the width of the goal post blocked Safwan’s header.

Substitute Amy Recha (Amy Recha) will also be close near the end of the clock, but Winata will stop quickly.

The Lions will have a chance to advance to the final in the second round against Indonesia on Saturday.

After defeating Myanmar, the Philippines and East Timor, the Lions ranked second in Group A and lost to the group leader Thailand.

Indonesia leads Group B with a goal difference before defending champion Vietnam.

Vietnam will face Thailand in the first leg of the semi-final on Thursday.
