SEOUL –
South Korean prosecutors investigating a massive corruption scandal engulfed President George Park Parker in an attempt to attack President Blue House on Friday, sparking a confrontation with security personnel.
This is the first time investigators have tried to search for evidence of top-level security complexes because the park was bombed by parliament in December to influence the power-selling and power abuse scandals.
At the time they tried to enter the premises, some prosecutors and their assistants holding court search orders were immediately stopped by security guards.
They have no legal means to carry out searches in the Blue House, unless the president allows it because the complex is considered to be the highest military safe area, the South Korean Yonhap news agency said.
A presidential spokesman said the Blue Palace was deeply opposed to the search, but was willing to provide documents and other materials the Prosecutor wanted to view.
After the prosecution team arrived, the negotiations lasted for several hours.
Park was charged with a long-term friend Choi Soon-Sil collusion, from the top companies to Choi control suspicious Foundation of the strong donation worth tens of millions of dollars.
The president has also been accused of using her influence to ensure the merger of two Samsung units in 2015 to help promote power inheritance between the sons of Samsung’s founding family, allegedly for giving Cui’s bribes.
The Prosecutor’s action is the Prosecutor’s plan to face-to-face interrogation next week.
The Constitutional Court had until June to decide whether to approve the proposal, in which case the new election had to be held within 60 days or to resume her election.
