The results of the 2016 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) examination will be released on Wednesday (Jan 11).

In a statement released today (Jan 4), the Ministry of Education (MOE) announced that school candidates may collect their results from their schools from 2pm onwards.

Private candidates will be notified of their individual results by post. The result slips will be mailed on Jan 11 to the address provided by the candidates during the registration period.

MOE also said that private candidates can use their SingPass account to obtain their results online on Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board’s website.

Students who wish to apply for Junior Colleges (JCs), Millennia Institute, polytechnics, or the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) may do so through the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) using their GCE O-Level examination results.

According to MOE, JAE registration will open from 3pm on Jan 11 to 4pm on Jan 16. Eligible applicants will receive Form A2 on the day of the release of examination results.

The posting results of the JAE application are scheduled for release on Thursday (Feb 2). Students posted to JCs or Millennia Institute are to report to their posted institutions the following day on Feb 3.

For applicants posted to polytechnics and ITE, they will receive a letter from the respective institutions on the enrolment details, MOE said.
