COEs end slightly lower for second bidding exercise in Jan 2017

In the second bidding exercise of January on Wednesday, Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) ended generally lower.

According to the Land Transport Authority (LTA), COE for cars up to 1,600cc finished at $50,889 while COE for cars above 1,600cc ended at $52,807.

They previously ended $50,101 and $53,106 respectively.

Correspondingly, COEs under the open category, motorcycles, and goods vehicles and buses finished $52,600, $47,001 and $6,052.

LTA added that it received 5,732 bids for this second open bidding exercise.
