[Update, Oct 10, 4pm] Looks like we were wrong. Sorry ladies, but Xu is really getting married, Shin Min Daily News reported.
He and his girlfriend of three years, Wang Yifei will be holding a wedding ceremony in Singapore on Nov 3.
The couple will be holding another two banquets China in January.
Guess he is one of those celebrities who are worthy of a press conference to announce their engagement.
Congratulations to the couple!
Singapore-based Chinese actor Xu Bin made a shocking announcement yesterday: he’s getting married.
The 28-year-old said on Instagram that he’ll be holding a press conference today (Oct 10), and gave fans a glimpse of his pre-wedding video featuring his future wife, named as Yi Fei in the video.

Calm down, girls, it could just be a publicity stunt.
Red flag #1: Who holds a press conference to announce an engagement? People like Japan’s Princess Mako, UK’s Prince William and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, that’s who.
Red flag #2: In his caption, Xu wrote: “I’ll be sharing ‘our’ story at the press conference.” Note that “our” is in quotation marks.
Red flag #3: His pre-wedding video looks like a Club Med ad.
Red flag #4: Sure, some celebrities like to keep their private lives private but this Yi Fei person has appeared in Xu Bin’s Instagram… zero number of times – not even a peek of her side view.
We can’t wait for the press conference to find out if we’re right. Watch this space for updates.
