SINGAPORE – Seven people were injured and had to be taken to the hospital after a chain collision involving about a dozen vehicles on the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway on Friday (Oct 6) morning.
A photo circulating on social media showed a black car lifted off its rear wheels by the collision with a CityCab taxi, as well as a long line of vehicles involved in the accident.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the accident at 9.45 am. Three ambulances were sent to the scene.
Of the seven people who were injured, five were taken to the Singapore General Hospital while the other two were sent to Raffles Hospital.
TODAY understands that their injuries were not life-threatening.
