A restaurant in Tokyo is now offering feast for not only the stomach, but also the eyes.
Saga Beef Restaurant Sagaya Ginza is collaborating with renowned Japanese art collective teamLab to create an interactive virtual art show for its customers.
For 30,000 yen (S$380), they can enjoy a 12-course meal while immersing in gorgeous surroundings projected on the table and walls, and which change according to the dishes and behaviour of the diners.
“If you stand still, a tiny bird might alight on your hand; if you move suddenly, it might fly away,” teamLab says.
A long waiting list for this unique experience is expected as the restaurant serves only eight people a day.
